    GATCA was established in Western Australia in 1978. As the State Association, the organisation serves gifted and talented children, their parents and their teachers. GATCA is about recognising, and providing for, the special needs of gifted children. Membership is open to all who wish to ensure that children of high ability are supported socially, emotionally and intellectually - at home and at school.

    The Future Problem Solving Program is an outstanding program for all Primary and Secondary schools and is highly recommended. The program teaches students (primary and secondary) to develop critical, creative and “futures based” thinking skills which related to current issues facing society. The Program teaches students how to analyse and synthesise the information they have before them, and to express their ideas in a cohesive, fluent manner. The program also teaches team-work, decision making and time management.

    The United Nations Youth Association of Australia (UNYA) is a non-profit, community organisation run for and by young people.
